Classes modeling the empirically observed traffic workload generated by HTTP clients and servers.
Both HTTP 1.0 and HTTP 1.1 behaviors are supported.
This package slightly extends the workload model described in the Appendix of the paper Dynamics of IP traffic: a study of the role of variability and the impact of control by Anja Feldman, Anna Gilbert, Polly Huang and Walter Willinger, in Proc. of SIGCOMM'99. (available from http://www.cs.uni-sb.de/~anja/).
This is an experimental release provided as a convenience for the modelers, and the accuracy of the parameters of various distributions included in the example test/httpClientServer.dml has not been independently verified (however, the common parameters correspond to the case "Pareto 1" in the paper cited above).
